Ox-eye daisy is also called Moon daisy. There are many garden varieties but this is the native. It looks great naturalised into grassland with buttercups, knapweed and other meadow flowers or is good in flower beds. It is a sun lover, and will survive in many soil types.
Ox eye daisy will attract a whole host of pollinators, in particular it is loved by butterflies.
IN a meadow area it is usually the pioneer plant, so is the first to become established.
