Bees are especially attracted to Vipers bugloss- a great plant for pollinators!
It self seeds but save some seed to sow the following year.
Vipers bugloss is a biennial and can grow in a very poor dry soil, where it will be only 30cm tall. In good garden soil it can grow much larger. It has a long flowering period, though it can get rather straggly at the end of the summer.
